General Information

Where is A³ Active District located?
A³ Active District is located at Upper Comcen, Brgy. Dimalna, MSU Marawi City.
What are your operating hours?
We are open daily from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
How many courts and pods do you have?
We have 3 standard pickleball courts and 4 training pods.
Is A³ indoor or outdoor?
A³ is an indoor pickleball facility, so guests can play and train in a covered space.
Do you accept walk-ins?
Yes, walk-ins are welcome depending on court or pod availability. To secure your preferred time, advance booking is recommended.
Are kids allowed?
Yes, kids are allowed. For safety, children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
Do you have open play?
Yes. Join our Reclub using the code M5QID so you can get updates on our Open Play schedules.

Before You Visit

Is A³ beginner-friendly?
Yes. Beginners are welcome at A³. You can book a court with your group, join beginner-friendly Open Play sessions when available, or train in a pod at your own pace.
Do I need to know how to play before booking?
No. You may book even if you are new to pickleball. If you are still learning, we recommend booking with friends, joining beginner sessions, or using a training pod to practice basic shots.
Can spectators watch?
Yes. Spectators are welcome in the designated waiting and viewing areas. Please avoid entering the court area while games are ongoing.
Is there parking?
Yes, parking is available. Parking slots are subject to availability, especially during peak hours, Open Play sessions, and events.
Do you have comfort rooms and shower rooms?
Yes. A³ has comfort rooms and shower rooms for guests. Please help us keep the facilities clean for everyone.
Are photos and videos allowed?
Yes, photos and videos are allowed for personal use. Please be respectful of other guests, avoid blocking games, and ask permission before posting close-up photos or videos of other players.
Do you have Wi-Fi?
Please ask our staff during your visit for Wi-Fi availability and access details.

Booking & Payment

How do I reserve a court or pod?
Select your preferred date, choose an available court or pod and time slot, review your booking details, then complete checkout to secure your reservation.
Is payment required to confirm my booking?
No. Your booking will be confirmed once you complete the checkout process. However, please book responsibly. Repeated no-shows may result in booking restrictions or being banned from future reservations.
Can I pay after booking?
Yes. Payment details will be provided after checkout via email, and you may settle through the available payment options or at the counter before your session.
What payment methods do you accept?
Payment options may include GCash, MariBank, and over-the-counter payment at A³. Please check your booking confirmation email for the latest payment instructions.
Where can I send proof of payment?
Once paid, kindly send your proof of payment to A³ Active District’s official Facebook or Instagram account.
Can I cancel or reschedule my booking?
Cancellations and rescheduling are subject to A³’s booking policy. Please contact us as early as possible so we can assist you.
What happens if I don’t show up?
Please book responsibly. Repeated no-shows or failure to inform A³ ahead of time may result in booking restrictions, suspension of future reservations, or being banned from future bookings.
What happens if we arrive late?
Your booking time will still follow the original schedule. Late arrival does not automatically extend the session.
How early should I arrive?
We recommend arriving before your scheduled time so you can check in, prepare, and start your session on time.
Can we extend our playing time?
Extensions are allowed only if the next time slot is still available. Please ask the staff before your session ends.
Can I book multiple time slots?
Yes, you may book multiple time slots as long as they are available. Please review your booking details carefully before completing checkout.
Can I book for someone else?
Yes. You may book for someone else, but please make sure the customer name and contact details are correct so our staff can verify the booking.
Can I choose a specific court or pod?
Yes, you may choose from the available courts or pods during booking. Available options depend on the date and time slot selected.
What if my preferred time is fully booked?
If your preferred time is fully booked, please choose another available time slot or check again later for schedule changes.
What should I do if I made a mistake in my booking?
Please contact A³ as soon as possible through our official Facebook or Instagram account so our team can assist you.

Open Play

What is Open Play?
Open Play is a scheduled group session where players can join games with other players instead of booking a private court with their own group.
How do I join Open Play?
Join our Reclub using the code M5QID. Open Play schedules, levels, fees, and updates are posted there.
Do I need a partner to join Open Play?
No. You may join Open Play even without a partner. Players may be grouped or rotated depending on the session format and number of participants.
Are beginners allowed in Open Play?
Yes, beginners are welcome when the session is marked as beginner-friendly or all levels. For level-specific sessions, please join the schedule that matches your playing level.
How are players grouped during Open Play?
Player grouping may vary depending on the Open Play format. A³ may use queuing apps such as PickleQ, manual rotation, level-based matching, random matching, or other formats depending on the session. The goal is to keep games organized, fair, and enjoyable for everyone.
What are your Open Play levels?
As a guide, our levels are: Beginner 2.0–2.25, Novice 2.25–2.75, Low Intermediate 2.75–3.25, High Intermediate 3.25–4.0, and Advanced 4.0 and above.
How much is Open Play?
Open Play fees may vary depending on the session. As a guide, 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM sessions are ₱150, while 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM sessions are ₱200, unless stated otherwise in the posted schedule.
Where do you post Open Play schedules?
Open Play schedules and updates are posted on Reclub. Please join using the code M5QID.
What is Reclub?
Reclub is the platform we use for Open Play updates, schedules, and community announcements. Please join A³ on Reclub using the code M5QID.
Can I join if I am not sure about my level?
Yes. If you are unsure about your level, start with beginner, novice, or all-levels sessions. A³ staff may also help guide players to the appropriate group when needed.

Pickleball Courts & Safety

How many courts do you have?
We have 3 standard pickleball courts.
What are your court rates?
Our court rate is ₱300 per hour on weekdays from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and ₱350 per hour from 4:00 PM onwards and on weekends.
How many players are allowed per court booking?
There is no strict player limit per court booking. One court may be used by a group in rotation within the reserved time slot. However, players must use the court safely, avoid overcrowding during actual play, and make sure the session does not disturb other guests or delay the next booking.
Do we need to bring our own paddles and ball?
You may bring your own paddles and pickleballs. Paddle and ball rentals are also available at A³, subject to availability.
What should we wear?
Please wear comfortable clothes suitable for playing. Sports shoes are recommended.
Are slippers allowed?
No. For everyone’s safety, slippers are not allowed inside the court.
Can we bring food or drinks inside the court?
Food and drinks are not allowed inside the playing area. Water bottles may be kept in designated areas, but please keep the court clean and dry to avoid slips and accidents.
Can we enter the court before our time?
Court access begins only at your reserved time, unless A³ staff allows earlier entry.
Do we need to leave exactly when our time ends?
Yes. Please clear the court promptly when your session ends so the next booking can start on time.
Can we extend if the next slot is vacant?
Yes, extensions are allowed if the next time slot is still available. Please ask the staff before your session ends.
Are guests responsible for damaged equipment?
Guests may be held responsible for damage to A³ facilities, equipment, or property caused by negligence, misuse, or intentional acts.
What should we do if someone gets injured?
Please inform A³ staff immediately. A basic first aid kit is available on-site for minor injuries, subject to the nature of the injury and available supplies. For serious injuries or emergencies, guests should seek proper medical assistance right away. Please play responsibly, follow safety reminders, and avoid unsafe or reckless play.

Training Pods

What is a training pod?
A training pod is a dedicated practice space with a ball machine, allowing players to train shots, footwork, timing, and consistency at their own pace.
How many pods do you have?
We currently have 4 training pods, each equipped with a ball machine for self-paced practice.
Is the pod good for beginners?
Yes. The pod is beginner-friendly because you can practice at your own pace and adjust the ball machine settings based on your comfort level.
Can I use the pod alone?
Yes. You may use the pod alone for self-training.
How many people can use one pod?
Each pod may accommodate up to 3 players per booking.
Are pickleballs provided?
Yes. Every pod comes with pickleballs, a ball basket, and a ball picker, so you can maximize your training time.
Do I need to bring my own paddle?
No. Paddles are included with every pod booking at no additional cost. You’re also welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
Can staff help me set up the ball machine?
Yes. A³ staff can assist with the basic setup of the ball machine before your session.
How do I operate the ball machine?
The ball machine is controlled using a remote. You can adjust the feed speed, elevation, oscillation, spin, and feed interval to suit your training.
Are pods for coaching only or self-training too?
Pods may be used for self-training, partner practice, or coaching sessions.
What shots can I practice in the pod?
You can practice drives, drops, volleys, resets, blocks, footwork, timing, and consistency drills depending on the ball machine setup.
Can kids use the pod?
Yes, kids may use the pod with adult supervision. For safety, children should not operate the ball machine without guidance.
What happens if the machine stops working?
Please inform A³ staff immediately so we can check the machine and assist you. If the issue is caused by the equipment, our team will help with the appropriate adjustment, extension, or arrangement depending on availability.
Do you have in-house coaches?
Not yet. We’ll post the schedules of our partner coaches on our Instagram page once they’re available.
Can I bring my own coach?
Yes. You’re welcome to bring your own coach. Any coaching fees should be arranged and paid directly to your coach.

Bean Awake Café

Is Bean Awake Café open to non-players?
Yes. Non-players, companions, and spectators are welcome to visit the café, subject to seating availability.
Can I stay at the café while waiting?
Yes. Guests may wait at the café or designated waiting areas while waiting for their session or companion.
Can I bring outside food inside the café?
Outside food and drinks are not allowed inside Bean Awake Café. Outside food and drinks may only be consumed in designated waiting areas.
Can spectators order from the café?
Yes. Spectators and companions may order from Bean Awake Café while watching or waiting.
Do you serve coffee and snacks?
Yes. Bean Awake Café serves coffee, drinks, and snacks. Menu availability may vary.

Membership & Purple Card

Do you offer memberships?
Yes. A³ will offer membership through the Purple Card.
What is the Purple Card?
The Purple Card is A³ Active District’s membership card for guests who want access to member perks, special rates, community events, and selected café and merch benefits.
What are the benefits of becoming a member?
Purple Card benefits may include member court rates, ball machine rates, priority booking, members-only court hours, café perks, early tournament registration, member pricing on selected merch, and members-only community events.
Are member rates different from regular rates?
Yes. Member rates and benefits will be posted by A³. As a guide, Purple Card members may enjoy special rates on court bookings and ball machine use, subject to the official membership terms.
How do I activate my Purple Card?
Purple Card activation instructions will be provided by A³. Members may be asked to complete an activation form so our staff can verify active membership status.
Can I transfer my membership to someone else?
No. Memberships are personal and may not be transferred unless expressly allowed by A³.

Events & Private Bookings

Can I book A³ for events or tournaments?
Yes. You may book A³ for private games, events, tournaments, birthdays, and club celebrations. Message us on Instagram at @a3.activedistrict and we’ll help you with the schedule, setup, and rates.
Can we book all courts for a private event?
Yes, full or partial court bookings may be arranged depending on availability. Please message A³ in advance for scheduling and rates.
Can A³ host tournaments?
Yes. A³ may host tournaments, round robins, club events, and other pickleball activities depending on the schedule and event requirements.
Can we celebrate birthdays or team events at A³?
Yes. A³ may accommodate birthdays, team activities, school events, office events, and club celebrations, subject to availability and prior arrangement.
Do you provide event setup?
Basic event arrangements may be discussed with A³. Setup, inclusions, and rates may vary depending on the event type and requirements.
Do you accept school, office, or club bookings?
Yes. Schools, offices, organizations, and clubs may inquire about group bookings or private events.
How do we request an event quotation?
Please message A³ through our official Facebook or Instagram account with your preferred date, time, number of guests, type of event, and other requirements.

Rentals, Shop & Equipment

Do you rent out paddles?
Yes. Paddle rentals are available, subject to availability.
Do you rent out pickleballs?
Yes. Pickleball rentals are available, subject to availability.
Do you sell paddles, balls, or merchandise?
Selected paddles, balls, shirts, and A³ merchandise may be available from time to time. Please ask our staff or check our official pages for updates.
What happens if rented equipment is damaged?
Guests may be charged for repair or replacement if rented equipment is damaged due to negligence, misuse, or intentional acts.
Can we bring our own paddle and ball?
Yes. You may bring your own paddle and pickleball. Rentals are also available if you need them.
Do you have beginner-friendly paddles available?
Yes. A³ has paddles that beginners may use or rent, subject to availability.
